On August 27th, TMS held it’s annual awards night. It was a celebration of achievement for all TMS students that successfully completed graded examinations in the school last year. Lead by resident piano teacher David Geraghty, each student was presented with their certificate by their teacher. Over 70% of our students received distinctions and merits this year, outstanding results! The night flowed well with performances by various TMS students on piano, drums, guitar, trumpet and voice.

This year TMS issued six new additional awards. These ‘Special Achievement Awards’ were presented to students who showed exceptional levels of achievement and progress during last year's school term. Well done to the chosen few!  

The night was topped off by an excellent performance from “Barking Hat Stand”. The band, comprised of musicians and students who took part in the recent Togher Rock School Summer Camp. They rocked the night out with covers from Muse and The Clash.

Overall the night was excellent and we would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all our students, we are very proud of you and are looking forward to the year ahead. Also, a big thank you to all the parents for their continued support throughout the year.
